kiloX Lacquers: Rescue Polish Collection

* Products in this post were sent for my honest review.

Hello! My apologies once again for the long absence. Today, I have a review and some swatches of the Rescue Polish Collection from kiloX Lacquers. kiloX Lacquers is a new and up-and-coming indie nail polish brand in Las Vegas. The Rescue Polish Collection is one of their first releases. Each polish in this line was inspired by a cute furry friend. For each bottle sold in the Rescue Polish Collection, $1 will be donated to the Las Vegas Valley Humane Society. Here are 5 out of the 6 polishes in this line.

First up is one of my personal favorites in this collection: KILO. KILO has a black jelly base with iridescent green and gold microglitter. This was inspired by Morgan's (the brand owner's) cat, Kilo, who has black fur and green eyes. This had quite a nice formula - it applied smoothly and evenly. It took 2 coats to reach opacity.

Next is another personal favorite: Saintly Bernard, which was inspired by, well, a Saint Bernard. This is a chocolate brown with a bronze shimmer and a scattered holo. Like KILO, this had a good formula and took 2 coats to reach opacity.

This yellow gold number with subtle gold glitter is called Sienna. This was inspired by a golden retriever who bears the same name. 2 coats.

Tango is a vibrant green polish with light and dark green microglitter. This was inspired by the color of the blanket and collar Morgan brought Tango home in when he was a kitten. This was the sheerest polish in the collection. It took 3 coats to reach the opacity seen below.

Last but not least is Zulu, a bright blue lacquer with diamond glitter and dark blue microglitter. This was inspired by another lovely kitten. Like the rest of the polishes in this collection, this had a good formula. Shown is 2 coats.

Each bottle in the Rescue Polish Collection costs $12. kiloX Lacquers offers international shipping. Check out their Facebook page here if you want to get updates on their new releases.
